Wheatbelt West Coast Fever Cup
The Wheatbelt-Goldfields West Coast Fever Primary and High School Cups have taken place in recent weeks and seen some great results for regional netball.

The Wheatbelt-Goldfields West Coast Fever Primary and High School Cups have taken place in recent weeks and seen some great results for regional netball.

Primary School 

The Primary School event took place in Northam on June 20, with 24 teams across two divisions and five pools.

Participants came from; Bakers Hill Primary School, Bencubbin Primary School, Beverly District High School, Central Wheatbelt Netball Association, Cunderdin Primary School, Gingin District High School, Moora Primary School, Narembeen District High School, Northam Primary School and York District High School. 

Many schools entered multiple teams which were identified by number or colour names. 

The Middle Division winners across the three pools included Gingin 2, Cunderdin 3 and York Blue. 

The Lower division held two pools, with Gingin DHS 1 and Northam PS Juniors taking victory. 

High School  

The High School event took place in Northam on May 2 and showcased a huge 43 teams, six divisions and seven pools. 

14 schools participated, representing areas including Beverly, Central Midlands, Cunderdin, Gingin, Kalgoorlie, Merredin, Mukinbudin, Narembeen, Northam, Wyalkatchem and York. 

In the Upper boys division, the Merredin College 2 team took the win, whilst the St Josephs School 1 squad won for the girls. 

Merredin College 3 won the Open division, and the John Paul College team won the mixed. 

In the middle Divisions both pools were won by a St Josephs School side, teams 4 and five taking the win. 

Merredin College 5 then secured another win for the school in the Lower Division. 

Congratulations to all the athletes who competed across both the Primary and High School competitions.
