Netball WA, in conjunction with West Coast Fever Netball Club, is proud to deliver the Fever In Time (FIT) Program. As Netball WA enters the fourth year of the Fever in Time Program, it is now a well-established component of the Netball WA athlete pathway. The program continues to play a critical role in identifying and developing talent, feeding directly into the West Coast Fever (WCF) 17/U State Program.State Cup info
For 2026, further adjustments will be introduced to strengthen age-specific development and alignment with the broader Netball WA pathway. A key change will see 14-year-old athletes transition out of the Fever in Time Program and into a dedicated Netball WA Development Academy model. This Academy will cater for athletes aged 13–14 years who are eligible to trial for the 15/U State Schoolgirls Team. The Netball WA Development Academy Framework provides a structured pathway for the development of both athletes and coaches across Western Australia. From 2026, all 14/U athletes will be eligible for selection into Netball WA Development Academies, which will operate across both metropolitan and regional areas. Please note that age ranges may vary in regional academies to support continued depth and development. Associations are encouraged to contact their NWA Regional Development Coordinator for guidance on any regional age variations.
