Fever in Time

In 2022, Netball WA, in conjunction with West Coast Fever Netball Club, is proud to launch the Fever In Time (FIT) Program. The program aligns with the Regional Academy Program which is Statewide, supporting identified players, coaches and officials. 

The program will be delivered in four metropolitan Squads:
•	North (Wanneroo, Noranda, Joondalup & Swan Districts) 
•	Central (Southern Districts, Eastern Hills, Kalamunda & Perth)
•	South (Fremantle, Rockingham, Success & Belmont)
•	Metro Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Academy (Metro & Regional)

The program will run from August to October each year with the teams competing in the Netball WA State Cup.  The State Cup is the premier Statewide competition and is a viewing platform for Gold Industry Group WANL clubs and West Coast Fever Futures Program.
Purpose of the Program
•	To identify players between 14U-16U 
•	To expose players, coaches and officials to an elite training environment 
•	To expand players, coaches and officials’ skills and technical knowledge 

Squad Selection 
Players must be identified by an association development officer, GIG WANL club* or NWA selector.
*Players in a 2022 GIG WANL Underpinning Program are eligible
*Players in a 2022 GIG WANL team are eligible if they have played 10 or less quarters by the end of Round 10

Player Progression
Identified players within with the Program will be encouraged to progress through to Phase 2 of the 17/U Futures trials.
