The Multicultural Carnival once again provided athletes an opportunity to play their favourite sport alongside their mates in a culturally diverse and safe environment.

Students showed energy, spirit, and incredible sportsmanship throughout the day as the sun shined down on Gold Netball Centre and Perth Netball Association.

Participants from Churchlands Primary School said their favourite part of the day was "playing with their team, making new friends and seeing lots of cultures together."

Athletes played their matches with the 2025 NAIDOC ball, designed by Tieralee Johns. Thanks to the Insurance Commission of Western Australia, participants could also design their own ball and put themselves in the running to be the lucky winning artist for 2026.

Thank you to all partners who activated during the day, allowing athletes plenty of fun on and off the court. Principal Partner, the Gold Industry Group, the Insurance Commission of WA, Healthway promoting the Fuel to Go & Play message and Woolworths for providing free fruit, and to Hyundai for promoting the Netball WA Community Raffle.
