Round Three belonged to the West Coast Warriors with the Club winning their matches in all three divisions.

West Coast Warriors 52 defeat Fremantle Sharks 33

The West Coast Warriors were determined for a win in Round Three after just missing out the week before.

Liza Ball was strong in defence, finding crucial intercepts alongside the unstoppable Scarlet Jauncey who you don’t want to find yourself up against.

With only nine athletes on their list for Wednesday night, the Sharks struggled to translate turnovers from their defensive end into goals.

Souwest Jets 46 defeat Rangers 40

The Souwest Jets took home a very passionate first win for their season, no doubt giving the side confidence after two losses.

Rylee Hall was outstanding with 35 goals whilst New Zealand recruit Meretini Fuimaono executed her job in Goal Attack, providing options around the circle against the tough Grace Jooste.

The third quarter belonged to the Jets, with the side taking a ten-goal win that set themselves up for the win.

The Rangers won three from four quarters and put in a massive effort across the board, it just wasn’t enough to build back from the Jets lead.

Southside Demons 54 defeat 34 Comets

The Demons and Comets clashed in a highly competitive first half, with both teams’ goal for goal at one point.

It was during the third quarter that the Demons came out flying, their defensive end of captain Chanel Gomens and Abbey Hanley were able to hold the Comets shooters and allow their attack end to build a lead.

Meg Gallager (23), Georgia Pitt (19) and Georgia Ettridge (12) were able to outscore the Comets by nine in the third quarter and 11 in the fourth.

The Comet’s defence and progression down the court was strong, with Clara Wigley finding every contest possible, the side just couldn’t follow through in goals.

Peel Lightning v Western Roar

The Western Roar show no signs of slowing down. West Coast Fever Training Partner Caitlyn Brown held herself well in Goal Defence, herself and Chelsea Bartlett a dangerous combo under the ring.

Asha Parsons (23 goals), Sophia Lamers (21) and Zoe Baxter (ten) cemented the win in goals.

At home in Mandurah, the Peel Lightning shared shooting responsibilities between Chelsea Cook (ten), Rebecca Lill (six), Marene Peyper (six) and Kate Kimberley (two). The side will travel to Eaton for Round Four and will no doubt be hungry for a win when they face the Jets.
