Netball WA would like to congratulate Susan Gerrard for her School Sport Australia Service Award which recognises the dedication and impact she has had on the School Sport WA (SSWA) netball programs.
She has made outstanding contributions to SSWA, both as an interstate official and an active member of the Secondary Netball Committee.
Since 2011, Sue has been the Head netball coach and during this time, has led her teams to a medal finish on multiple occasions. Most recently, the 15Us netball team coached by Sue, won gold in the 2022 School Sport Australia Netball Championships.
Aside from outstanding performances from her teams, Sue also develops a wonderful rapport with her players and over the years has been a fantastic mentor to the team officials under her tutelage.
