National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
NRW take place annually between 27 May – 3 June. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey – the successful 1967 referendum, and the High Court Mabo decision, respectively.
This year NRW challenges all Australians to Be Brave and Make Change, so that we can create a more just, equitable and reconciled Australia.
Over the course of the week, Netball WA staff will have the opportunity to take part in a number of NRW learning opportunities and experiences including a Noongar Language education session, NRW Virtual Breakfast and the Walk for Reconciliation.
