Following on from the Premier's announcement on Monday 5 July regarding changes to COVID-19 related restrictions and the subsequent Netball WA memo, dated Tuesday 6 July to Association and Gold Industry Group WA Netball League Presidents, updated Directions for the Perth and Peel regions have been released and contain greater clarity on the following key points for outdoor community sport.
- Outdoor community sport can resume with spectators and no patron limits; noting a minimum of 2sqm per person.
- All other information outlined in the Netball WA memo dated Tuesday 6 July remains accurate including mask-wearing restrictions, regional travel requirements and indoor community sport being restricted to 150 patrons per venue. Participants, coaches, officials, umpires and staff do not need to be included in the 150 limit.
