The WA Government announced at 8:00pm on Monday 28 June that Perth/Peel Regions have progressed to a minimum four-day lockdown.
This means that for people who have been in the Perth or Peel regions and have returned home outside of the Perth/Peel regions, the below circumstances will apply now that you have returned home.
If the person left Perth/Peel regions before 12:00pm (noon) on Sunday 27 June, they would not need to wear a mask but should present for testing if they develop symptoms. This would mean they can fully participate in community sport.
A person who left Perth/Peel regions after 12:00pm (noon) on Sunday 27 June but before 12:01am Tuesday 29 June, they must wear a mask and present for testing if they develop symptoms. They must follow the same restrictions that were in place for Perth/Peel regions before the lock down. Therefore, masks may be removed if participating in vigorous exercise (such as playing or umpiring netball).
A person who left or leaves Perth/Peel regions after 12.01am Tuesday 29 June, must comply with all lockdown directions as if they were in Perth/Peel regions and would therefore not be able to participate in any community sport in any capacity.
If you have attended a known exposure site or are feeling unwell, please do not attend any netball venues and get tested as soon as possible at a COVID clinic.
Everyone’s continued diligence to keep themselves and others safe at the netball and when out and about in the community is greatly appreciated. This remains an evolving situation and we will be keeping a close eye on State Government updates and provide further information as it comes to hand.
