Each year Netball WA offers scholarships to provide opportunities for Netball WA affiliated coaches, umpires and managers from grass roots to elite level further their aspirations through education, accreditation and personal development opportunities.
The three Scholarship Programs include:
- Bette Allison Coach Scholarship
- Fay Bevan Umpire Scholarship
- Flo Starcevich Managers Scholarship
Netball WA is pleased to announce that a 2021 Fay Bevan Umpire Scholarship recipient is Bethan Duffill from the Fremantle Netball Association.
Bethan started umpiring at Fremantle Netball Association nine years ago and attained her A badge in 2020.
She has had many roles including umpire coaching, umpire committee member and workshop presenter.
She is currently a Netball WA State Umpire Squad Member.
Bethan aspires to be a top level national and international umpire and has a hunger for continual improvement.
"I embody a balance between my own development (and) helping others, especially juniors with their development," she said.
