West Coast Warriors Zoe Harper scored a massive 60 individual goals to kick off Round Five

Western Roar 52 defeat Fremantle Sharks 50

The first game on Streamer for the night proved to be just as competitive as expected. Western Roar dominated the first quarter with keen accuracy from their shooting circle of Sophia Lamers and Asha Parsons.

The Sharks fought back hard, an evenly matched third quarter putting both sides in a winnable position going into the final term.

The leading goal shooters from both sides managed 33 goals (Lamers and Aisha Morcombe) it was the Goal Attacks who had to make the difference.

West Coast Warriors 78 defeat Rangers 31

The Warriors had an absolute outing on Wednesday night, winning every quarter with ease.

Rangers Captain Myra Ugle was once again consistent, and whilst the sides started goal for goal the Warriors found their groove quickly.

GIG WANL newcomer Zoe Harper had her highest goal scoring game this season, with 60 individual goals putting her easily at the top of the ladder for goals in the League.

Southside Demons 58 defeat Souwest Jets 36

The Southside Demons have secured top spot on the ladder this week after their 22-goal defeat of the Jets.

The Jets managed to come close in the second quarter and were evenly matched in the final term, but a 16-goal blitz by the demons in the first quarter was enough to get them in trouble.

Demon Georgia Pitt scored 26 goals, something the Jets just couldn’t produce in their shooting end.

The Lightning and Comets will finish Round 5 on Sunday at Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.
