The Gold Netball Centre played host to a week of fun which started with two sold out Woolworths NetSetGO Netball Clinics on Monday.
The NetSetGO Fun Day took place on Friday and there was an array of activities for the participants to enjoy, including yoga, a design your own netball kit station and of course, plenty of netball.
The kids got a taste of what it was like to be one of their heroes with a West Coast Fever Match Day experience and Future Fever testing. There was also special access to the West Coast Fever changerooms, meeting Maali the Fever mascot as well as signing and Q&A opportunities with Fever players.
Holiday clinics were also run across the Perth Region with more than 400 Woolworth NetSetGOers braving some wet conditions.
Not even the weather could dampen the mood, as Associations from all corners of Perth saw netballers aged 5-10 flock to the holiday programs.
For Associations, such as Success and Fremantle, the clinics were also a valuable opportunity to connect with junior umpires.
Every clinic had an emphasis on healthy eating and each participant enjoyed a wide selection of fresh fruit, generously supplied by Woolworths.
The Woolworths NetSetGO Centre of the Year was named during NetSetGO week with Eaton Netball Association taking out the award. Eaton Netball Association NetSetGO Coordinator Jo Lawson received the award, along with a recognition plaque and $200 Woolworths voucher, during the Gold Industry Group WA Netball League Open Grand Final.
Eaton’s NetSetGO participants also got to experience the GIG WANL Grand Final day, as they walked out the competing teams in the Open Division.
