From the centre pass both young teams worked exceptionally hard.
Grace Millichamp was solid under goals to kick off the game. Millichamp was joined by Teagan Begovic in the goal circle who was on fire in the Goal Attack bib. Her speed and accuracy incredibly important to the side.
For the Warriors, Eva Ferguson was a gun under the goal post, finding turnovers and rebounds as needed

In the second term, Roar came out firing. Grand Final MVP Kate Cunningham was fierce in Goal Keeper, finding intercepts as needed.
Warrior Skyla Payne shot consistently, taking 14 for the first half.
The two teams were only seven goals apart at half time.

Roar were able to control the pace of the third quarter, captain Teddi Lowe slowing pace from her Wing Defence bib when needed.
Halle Richards came on in the second half of the quarter in Goal Shooter and was able to shoot for volume and reach for rebounds on a missed shot.
Emily Rivers provided her usual level of defensive pressure, which saw intercepts change the direction of a play.
The Warriors continued strong in defence but needed to settle in their attacking end, trailing by 15 goals at the last break
Q4 Western Roar 59 | West Coast Warriors 40
Warrior Ava Buselich continued her standout defensive performance putting plenty of pressure on Begovic, who herself was having a fantastic game with a total 19 goals.
Fellow Warrior Alexis Markovic was injected in the final minutes and provided fresh shooting for the side.
Roar knew their plan and executed it in the final quarter, their third consecutive premiership under Head Coach Stuart Dent.
