The Men came out with fire in the opening minutes.
Freddy Taylor and Will Linter created a solid defensive unit under goal, both finding turnovers throughout the quarter.
Roar’s shooting end proved to be dangerous from the centre pass, with Max Denholm taking 16 goals for the quarter alongside Tom Gorman, who created options and space in the Goal Attack bib.
Roar created and built a commendable lead to be ahead by 14 at quarter time.

The second quarter was about restructuring for the Warriors, moving Captain Dravyn Lee-Tauroa from shooting to defence and Taylor into a shooting role.
That influx created new momentum for the side controlling the quarter with sensational defensive pressure.
The side shot for 16 goals for the quarter and forced the Roar to slow down.

Roar identified a need to push and shot for volume in the third quarter. Dan Parella came on for the side in goals and lifted the side.
Tom Gorman moved into a Wing Attack role and was vital to creating play and pushing the ball down the court

In the final term, it was all about holding the lead for Roar who continued to build and cement their confidence in the win.
Despite the loss, the Warriors never slowed the efforts, giving it their all until the very end.
This premiership is Western Roar’s fourth consecutive and eight Grand Final appearance.
Tom Harper was awarded the MVP for the match.
