Roar 63 defeated Lightning 33
Roar’s Sophia Lamers continues her authority in shooting throughout the league with 38 goals against the Lightning. Asha Parsons aided the win with 22 of her own goals, alongside Teagan Begovic’s three.
Roar held a consistent lead every quarter, managing as high as an 11-goal lead in the second. Their strength in the midcourt is a testament to their high scoring games as they drive the ball down the court.
Peel Lightning put up a good fight against the top of the table team. Kasey Ridout scored 22 goals with partners Rebecca Lill scoring nine and Cherie Miller two.

Comets 49 defeated Warriors 40
The second and sixth placed teams had a tight face off in Round 11 and the Warriors didn’t let the Comets take the win easily.
Comets Emma Cosh took home 25 goals with Madeline Ash’s 20 and Giselle Taylor’s three. 21/U athlete Halle Richards came on in the fourth quarter and made her mark with a goal.
The Warriors fought hard for the close finish, Jamaica Jauncey scored 32, Hana Stokes seven and Emily Dwyer with one.
Although a very close game, the Comets eight-goal lead in the last quarter guaranteed their win.
Demons 65 defeated Jets 38
The Demons and Jets face-off started with an even first quarter, but it was the Demons’ hard fight in the second quarter that set up the win.
Demons Ashleigh Cupido (32) and Meg Gallager (24) turned the tide of the game assisted by Georgia Ettridge (nine).
Jet Bianca Grickage scored 17 goals and Brooke Gibson 13 and in an impressive display of talent across the divisions, Grace Millichamp scored seven and Annie Chomley scored one on their Open debuts.
Sharks 57 defeated Rangers 53
The Fremantle Sharks have once again demonstrated how well they work under pressure in a close win over Rangers.
Sharks shooting trio were hard at work with Georgie Cleaver returning from injury with 17 goals as Sophie Eastaugh scored 23 goals and Larrissa Harrison 17.
Rangers Abbey Hicks scored her record this season with 43 goals, Emily Cramond took five, Kimberley Burton three and Kathryn Byrne with two.
Rangers fought hard until the final siren, scoring five more goals than the Sharks in the last quarter, leading to the close score.
