Fever Talent Coach Guy Keane has been appointed as Head Coach to be assisted by Karly Guadagnin. As Head Coaches at the National Netball Championships in April, Keane (17/U) and Guadagnin (19/U) guided their respective sides to medals, which was a massive result for WA Netball.
West Coast Fever Head of Performance Liam Warwick said it was exciting to have Keane and Guadagnin on board to guide the Fever Reserves.
“Both coaches have significant experience coaching across multiple levels of netball. Their recent success leading the WA State 17/U and 19/U to podium finishes made them obvious choices to lead the West Coast Fever Reserves to this year’s Australian Netball Championships,” Warwick said.
“We’re confident they will bring great expertise to the program and put the team in a position to succeed at the championships later this year.”
Keane said he was looking forward to working with Guadagnin again and improving on the Reserves performance from last year when they finished seventh.
“The squad is shaping up to be a good mix of Fever Training Partners, Fever Academy and WA Pathway athletes which bodes well for a successful campaign,” Keane said.
“ANC is a great opportunity for us to showcase the talent and depth of WA netball and I am looking forward to working with Karly and the squad as we look to improve on last year’s performance and hopefully, develop the next generation of West Coast Fever talent.”
The date and venue of the Australian Netball Championships will be announced by Netball Australia soon.
