The Fremantle Sharks have impressed in Round Two with a late win over the West Coast Warriors.

Sharks 56 defeat Warriors 52

The Warriors starting off the match strong, but it was the Sharks’ third quarter fight back that was crucial.

Warriors shooter Zoe Harper once again produced a high-volume performance with 46 goals.

Whilst the Sharks’ shooting was shared between Aisha Morcombe (31) and Sophie Eastaugh (15).

Eastaugh’s ability to create space in the Goal Attack bib allowed her shooting partner the ability to secure the last three of four goals of the game.

Congratulations to Warriors’ Hana Stokes for 100 GIG WANL Games.

Southside Demons 56 defeat Peel Lightning 39

The Demons are shaping up to be the strongest side early in the season with another dominant win.

The reliable Demons shooting trio of Meg Gallager (30), Georgia Pitt (16) and Georgia Ettridge (10) continued to show great consistency, creating high volume early on.

Lightning shooter Kasey Ridout finished with 34 goals, while mid-courter Teddi Lowe impressed with her speed and consistency.

Congratulations to Lightning’s Chelsea Bartlett who also celebrated 100 GIG WANL games.

Comets 61 defeat Souwest Jets 36

The Comets will be relieved with a win following their shocking Round One defeat.

The reigning premiers won the first three quarters, with shooting pair Madeleine Ash (37) and Sloan Burton (21) instrumental in building the lead.

The Jets won the final quarter by two goals, something they will be pleased with against such a strong side.

Defence from Jets Hannah O’Donnell and Brooke O’Connor in that final quarter allowed the side to hold down the winning margin.

Roar 55 defeat Rangers 32

The final game of the night saw the Rangers fight hard in the first quarter, wining by one.

A mammoth third quarter from Roar broke the game open, winning the term by 12 goals creating momentum  heading into the final quarter.

Sophia Lamers shot 37 goals for Roar, a huge individual effort alongside Asha Parsons (nine) and debutant Mia Burton (nine).
