The one-day event was held across the Gold Netball Centre and Matthews Netball Centre. The Carnival requires 5 participants with 1 or more parents born overseas or to identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander on court at all times.
The Carnival was made up of 25 divisions, 150 teams and 40 schools, all participating to celebrate the different cultures that make up netball in Western Australia.
Athletes included those as young as year three and as old as year 12, as well as 145 male participants. Instead of a Grand Final, the team that finished the division on top of the ladder took home the trophy, with many excited victorious athletes by the end of the day.
