Netball WA is excited to announce an extended partnership with The West Australian to stream Friday night Gold Industry Group West Australian Netball League games for the remainder of the 2020 home and away season.
The GIG WANL competition continues to go from strength to strength; this year Netball WA invested in live streaming of almost every game of the season through a partnership with Infinite Action, with games attracting in excess of 7,000 online views per match.
As a current media partner, The West Australian has increased their support and investment in netball, providing an exciting opportunity for players, coaches and the GIG WANL clubs to showcase this great game to a wider audience.
Netball WA CEO, Simon Taylor said: “This partnership demonstrates the growth and status of our competition and we look forward to continuing to work with The West Australian.”
“This is a great opportunity to further expose our State competition, which is the player pathway to elite competition and provides fans the opportunity to see up and coming talent who may one day be playing for West Coast Fever.”
All remaining League fixtures will continue to be broadcast each weekend via Centre Pass and Netball WA’s facebook page.
