The plan sets a clear vision for the next five years, through to the end of 2030 to create a world of possibility through netball, ensuring the sport thrives from grassroots to the elite level across Netball WA and West Coast Fever.
Netball WA Group CEO Simone Hansen said the plan represents a significant milestone for the organisation and the communities it serves.
“THINK 2030 is about imagining what’s possible for netball in Western Australia and putting the structures in place to make that vision a reality,” Ms Hansen said.
“This plan reflects our commitment to ensuring netball is a sport for all — accessible, inclusive and connected to every corner of our state.”
The Strategic Plan is built around three core pillars: Strengthen Our Future, Elevate the Experience, and Lead with Intent. Each pillar sets out targeted actions designed to grow participation, enhance the member and fan journey, invest in people, and raise standards of governance, performance and innovation.
“We want to make netball the number one sport of choice in Western Australia, and that means simplifying the pathway to participation, investing in facilities, and building deeper, more meaningful engagement with our members, players and fans,” Ms Hansen said.
Ms Hansen said the plan also underscores Netball WA’s responsibility as a leader and advocate within the Australian sporting landscape.
“Netball plays an important role in empowering women and girls, strengthening communities and inspiring the next generation and THINK 2030 positions us to amplify that impact,” she said.
