Netball WA is looking forward to the Perth and Peel regions returning to pre-lockdown life from 12.01am Saturday, May 15, following the latest public health advice.
Pending no further changes to this advice, the wearing of masks will no longer be mandatory at any indoor or outdoor netball association competitions and events and all venues can operate at 100 per cent capacity, including RAC Arena for West Coast Fever home games.
Gold Industry Group West Australian Netball League Round 4 fixtures will commence tonight, Friday, May 14, and there is no requirement for masks to be worn by spectators.
All netball participants and spectators are reminded to register their contact details via the SafeWA app or written contact registers at venues and continue adhering to Netball WA hygiene protocols.
The netball community is also encouraged to remain informed via the State Government’s COVID 19 Information and Advice website.
The extra effort from clubs, players, officials, volunteers and spectators to follow health advice over the past three weeks is greatly appreciated, as it has allowed us to return to this position.
Thank you again for your ongoing cooperation and support.
