Netball WA is excited that Western Australia has returned to pre-lockdown life as at 12.01am Monday 12 July, following the public health advice over the weekend and the previous directives being revoked.
The wearing of masks will no longer be mandatory at any indoor or outdoor Netball WA association competition and events and all venues can operate at 100 per cent capacity, including RAC Arena for West Coast Fever home games.
All netball participants and spectators are reminded to register their contact details via the SafeWA app or written contact registers at venues and continue adhering Netball WA hygiene protocols.
The Gold Industry Group West Australian Netball League Round 12 fixtures will go ahead on Friday, July 16 with spectators and there is no requirement for masks to be worn.
The netball community is also encouraged to remain informed via the State Government’s COVID 19 Information and Advice website.
The extra effort from clubs, players, officials, volunteers, and spectators to follow health advice over the past two weeks is greatly appreciated, as it has allowed us to return to this position.
Thank you again for your ongoing cooperation and support.
