The results of the Netball WA Board elections were confirmed at the Netball WA Annual General Meeting last night.
Existing Directors Natasha Aristei, Jacqui Jashari and Trish Robinson were all re-elected for three-year terms, and Lisa Wynne was elected as a new Director, also for a three-year term.
Ms Wynne has more than 16 years of experience at a Board and Committee level, specialising in Corporate Governance.
She is also an active member of Audit & Risk, HSEQ, and Remuneration & Nomination Committees and the owner of consulting firm, Sila Consulting Pty Ltd, providing Company Secretarial and Chief Financial Officer services to ASX & TSX listed entities.
Ms Wynne is also a junior netball coach and passionate about contributing to the future growth and success of the sport in Western Australia.
Netball WA President Craig Heatley congratulated the successful election candidates and said he was looking forward to working with them over the course of their terms.
“The ongoing sustainability and success of our game relies on the commitment of volunteers so I would like to sincerely thank our elected Directors on behalf of everyone involved with Netball in WA for nominating to contribute.”
“I know that each of them will bring their unique skills, leadership and experience to the role with passion and play a crucial part in the ongoing growth of netball.”
