In a shake-up to the competition, Kalamunda Districts Netball Association narrowly came away with the most premierships, claiming five, including both boys' divisions.
Wanneroo Districts Netball Association were closely behind on four.
Day One was full of far more sun than anticipated as games kicked off bright and early. Shortly followed was a VIP Morning Tea with a speech by Healthway Sport Program Manager Phil Gregson recognising the significance of the weekend.
Athletes and spectators were treated to a variety of exciting activations from Netball WA’s Partners. A special thank you to Healthway promoting the Fuel To Go & Play message, the Gold Industry Group, Fortescue, Hyundai, Linley Valley Prok, Woolworths, Gilbert, Starick and the CBH Group whose activations made the weekend brighter!
Day Two was a shorter competition day, finishing at 1:30pm to allow participants to also go to RAC Arena to make up more than 2000 plus netballers attending the match.
Excitement was in the air for finals day, as the best of the best came together to battle for the premiership trophy.
After witnessing their big win the day before, attendees also had the opportunity to meet players from West Coast Fever during a signing session, with plenty of people taking the excited to get their new merchandise signed.
The Championships were possible thanks to the support of Healthway promoting the Fuel to Go & Play, Gold Industry Group, Fortescue, the Insurance Commission of Western Australia promoting the Belt Up campaign, the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
