Netball WA is pleased to announce the Netball Community Raffle is officially on sale for 2021, thanks to Nissan, Flight Centre, RAC Arena and The Perth Mint who are a member of the Gold Industry Group.

Now in its seventh year, the Raffle has two main purposes, to provide Associations and Clubs with a fundraising opportunity that requires no outlay, with 60% of the funds they raise returned to them, and to put funds aside for future facility investment, with the remaining 40% placed in the Community Facilities Fund.

This year will see tickets able to be purchased both online and offline at your local Association.

Once again, the Raffle offers some fantastic prizes, including a new Nissan Juke ST valued at more than $30,000, thanks to long-term partners, Nissan.

Flight Centre have once again donated a $5,000 travel gift card, valid for up to three years, while RAC Arena have offered up a unique opportunity for eight people to join West Coast Fever stars in a 12-seat suite at a show, including catering.

There’s also a chance to win a fully catered corporate box for six people at a West Coast Fever game in 2021, while fifth prize is a 2021 Emerald Family Membership.

This year’s edition of the Raffle will see an early bird prize of a $500 gift card to The Perth Mint thanks to the Gold Industry Group, for all tickets bought online by Friday 14 May 2021.

The Gold Industry Group have also donated a gold nugget from The Perth Mint, valued at $1,000 as a bonus prize for those who buy over $20 worth of tickets in one transaction.

Netball WA Chief Executive Officer, Simone Hansen said the Netball Community Raffle is a great initiative.

“Netball WA is dedicated to Advancing Netball and Advancing Communities and through initiatives like this we are able to achieve this,” said Hansen.

“The Raffle not only offers some amazing prizes, it also serves as an easy way to raise valuable money for clubs across the state.”

“I also want to make a special mention to our amazing partners who continue to support the Netball Community Raffle. Their support is incredibly generous and long-lasting.”

Since its inception, the Raffle has injected more than $190,000 into Associations and Clubs which they have utilised to fund a variety of projects ranging from upgrading equipment to off-setting costs for athletes in talent development programs.
