Netball WA is pleased to announce the Netball Community Raffle is back for 2020, thanks to Nissan, Flight Centre, RAC Arena and The Gold Industry Group.

Now in its sixth year, the Raffle has two main purposes – to provide Associations and Clubs with a fundraising opportunity that requires no outlay, with 60% of the funds they raise returned to them, and to put funds aside for future facility investment, with the remaining 40% placed in the Community Facilities Fund.

This year, Club’s will also be able to apply to the Facilities Fund for hardship support, to assist with the impacts of COVID-19.

The Raffle once again offers some fantastic prizes, including a new Nissan X-Trail ST valued at more than $30,000, thanks to long-term partners, Nissan.

Flight Centre have donated the second prize of a $5,000 travel gift card, which is valid for up to 3 years, while RAC Arena have once again offered up a unique opportunity for eight people to join four West Coast Fever stars in a 12-seat suite at a show, including catering.

There’s also the chance to win a fully catered corporate box for six people at a West Coast Fever game in 2021, while fifth prize is a 2021 Emerald Family Membership.

This year will see an early bird prize of a watch of choice from The Perth Mint Gift Shop to the value of $500, and a bonus prize of a $1,000 gold nugget, thanks to Gold Industry Group partner The Perth Mint.

Netball WA General Manager of Community Netball, Liz Booth urged the netball community to continue their support of the initiative.

“Netball WA’s purpose to Advance Netball, Advance Communities has never been more relevant. During this challenging time for our sport, I encourage our community to get behind the 2020 Raffle to support their local Club through this period,” said Booth.

“The Raffle is a win-win for the netball community with some amazing prizes on offer, while also serving as an easy and stress-free way to raise valuable money for clubs.”

“I want to also make a special mention to our amazing partners who continue to support the Netball Community Raffle. Their support is incredibly generous and long-lasting.”

Since its inception, the Raffle has injected more than $180,000 into Associations and Clubs which they have utilised to fund a variety of projects ranging from equipment purchases and end of season events to off-setting costs for athletes in talent development programs.

Raffle tickets are available online.
