The Multicultural Carnival was once again a success, bringing together athletes from a mix of different cultures and backgrounds for the love of netball.

In 2026, there were 154 teams participating, bringing together over 1000 athletes and many spectators, teachers and officials.

Thank you to the Netball WA Specialist Schools and SEDA students who gave up their time to umpire and score.

In the activation zone, athletes and attendees were able to proudly display their heritage on a map, a fantastic activation by the Gold Industry Group.

Thank you as well to Major Partners the Insurance Commission of Western Australia promoting the Belt Up message, Healthway promoting the Fuel to Go & Play message, Fortescue and the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport.
