Netball WA is excited to announce the coaches who will lead the West Coast Fever Futures Program in 2024, after for the first time since 2004 WA secured two medals at the National Netball Championships.

The 19/U Team will again be coached by Karly Guadagnin after she took the team the grand final this year. The team brought home the silver medal after going down to South Australia by 11 goals in the gold medal match. The 19/U team produced some outstanding performances at nationals, resulting in six athletes nationally categorised.

Guadagnin will be supported by Assistant Coach Melanie Rainey for another year. Rainey brings a wealth of experience working with WA pathway athletes.

Guy Keane also returns to coach the 17/U Team after leading the team to the bronze medal in his first year in the program. The team came agonisingly close to playing off in the gold medal match after going down in the semi-final to Queensland, in double overtime thriller. They defeated Victoria by eight goals in the bronze medal match and three athletes gained national categorisation.

Keane will be supported by Nicole Mann as the Assistant Coach, after she demonstrated her value to the program in the role of Apprentice Coach in 2023.

Ellie Sanzone has been added to the program as the Scholarship Coach. Sanzone is a former WA State Player and currently coaches the State 12/U School Girls.

The 2024 Futures program commences in December as the teams look to build towards a successful 2024 campaign.
