Hundreds of people turned out across the day to play, coach, manage, umpire, support, cheer loudly from the sidelines, yarn, laugh and celebrate together.
Everywhere you looked there were smiles, high fives, encouragement, families gathered under marquees and trees, kids running around with excitement and communities reconnecting through sport and culture. The atmosphere across the association was warm, vibrant and full of pride, a truly special day that brought people together in the best possible way.
Across the carnival over 100 incredible games were played, with skill, sportsmanship, teamwork and passion on full display all day long. The sunny weather created the perfect backdrop for players to showcase their talent and love for the game.
Teams travelled from Grassroot sites including Katanning, Bunbury, Rockingham and host teams from Mandurah.

Thank you to the amazing stallholders and community organisations who helped create such a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day with cultural handmade pieces, health and community support services and interactive activities. Special mention to Koolbardi Design and the beautiful celebration canvas created by children across the day, a powerful piece of storytelling and connection that will be treasured by Netball WA.
Thank you also to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for funding this event and to Fortescue for supporting our 30 umpires across the day.
This carnival was more than netball, it was community, culture, connection, inclusion and celebration.
