Goal Shooter Mikayla Carter was awarded the Naomi Perry Spirit Award for her sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
West Australia umpire Jess Green was also selected to umpire the gold medal match.
The Western Swans kicked off their weekend with two huge wins on Friday. WA took down Queensland by 23 goals in their opening game and beat the Australian Capital Territory by 38 goals later that day. Such huge wins reflect the hard work the side and their Head Coach Bev Gallager have been putting in during training.
On Saturday, they faced New South Wales, who later went on to become premiers and were too good for WA winning by 21 goals.
In Round Four, WA bounced back taking down Tasmania by 19 goals.
The Western Swans fantastic effort thus far had placed them in the second Semi Final to determine their last game. WA came up against Victoria and despite their hard work were bested by 15.
The girls found themselves again in the Bronze Medal Match, a huge effort to display the consistent talent of this side year-on-year.
Facing their long-time direct competition South Australia, the match was all about improvement. WA found themselves up by one-goal during the game, their best result against the South Australia side.
At half time they were only trailing by one-goal, but the game eventually went to South Australia 21-14.
Despite the loss, the side will be incredibly proud of their improvement against a team who have always brought tough competition.
The Western Swans will come home proud of their fourth place with plenty of excitement for what they can bring next year.
