Netball WA staff delivered an Inner Sanctum Experience to community coaches and umpires who were treated to a learning experience from those at the highest level with SSN knowledge.
Ten coaches and seven umpires attended the session, providing an opportunity for coaches to engage directly with Suncorp Super Netball head and assistant coaches.
The discussion focused on behaviours, decision making and clarity in pre-season, principals that apply at every level of the game.
The coaches gained practical insights around non-negotiables, role clarity and short turnaround preparation that they can immediately transfer into their own environments.
For the umpiring cohort, the experience centred on observing the preparation and professionalism of the SSN umpiring group.
They were able to see the standards, detail and level of accountability required at the highest level, reinforcing pathway expectations and providing clear benchmarks for progression.
The opportunity to bring coaches and umpires into these high-performance environments strengthens the entire pathway, reinforcing that clarity, consistency and preparation underpin success across all roles in our game.
Thank you to the WA Government through the Department of Cultural Industries, Tourism and Sport and Principal Partner the Gold Industry Group for their support in providing such beneficial opportunities for Netball WA coaches and umpires.
