Carine Netball Club’s Erin Walsh was the very lucky winner of the 2024 first prize, a Hyundai Kona Hybrid Premium.

The 2024 Raffle winners were able to accept their prizes during a ceremony at Hyundai’s dealership in Wangara, presented by Hyundai Australia Regional General Manager Michael Beros.

“Hyundai are very proud partners of netball in Western Australia,” Mr Beros said.

“WA loves its netball, which makes Hyundai even more excited to be a part of it and make big plans for the future.”

Netball WA General Manager Commercial, Media and Marketing Stu Gilsenan, said the partnership with Hyundai was a complete success in its first year.

“The shift for us in 2024 was the dollar raised and kept by the Clubs, with the help of Michael and Hyundai it’s taken us to another level and greatly benefited our WA Clubs and Associations,” he said.

First Prize Winner Ms Walsh was elated to be presented her new car, and said she was both shocked and incredibly excited to get the winning call.

The second prize, 10 seats in the Hyundai VIP Suite at a West Coast Fever game, went to the Great Southern Griffin’s Kiera Tapscott.

Third prize was awarded to Rachel Lekias, who took home a Gold Nugget from the Perth Mint valued at $1000.

For the third year in a row, Paua Rose Netball Club sold the most tickets in the entire raffle with $17,912 in ticket sales and a $4000 bonus going straight back to their club.

Overall, $145,780 in ticket sales were generated in 2024, including $90,200 in physical tickets and $55,580 online. 2024 was also the first year that Clubs and Associations were able to keep 100% of the funds they raised which will be tremendously helpful for the growth of netball in WA.

Congratulations to all the 2024 winners and once again a big thank you to Hyundai for all their support.
