Men’s Western Roar v Comets

Roar return to another Men’s GIG WANL Grand Final after finishing on top of the ladder with eight wins, two losses and a draw. They booked their place in style, claiming a commanding 21-goal qualifying final victory. With talent and experience across the court, Roar’s shooting combination of Max Denholm and Tom Gorman will be key, with both known for their ability to deliver high-volume scoreboard pressure.

The Comets secured their Grand Final berth with a three-goal win over the Warriors in the preliminary final, having finished third on the ladder with five wins, four losses and two draws. Keep an eye on versatile GD and centre Wade Moore, who is sure to take flight in pursuit of every contest.

The sides last met in Round 7, when Roar claimed a 14-goal win.

21/U West Coast Warriors v Western Roar

The Warriors earned their spot on the biggest stage after a thrilling qualifying final, producing a two-goal win that kept the stadium locked on every moment.

The Warriors finished the season second on the ladder, recording nine wins, four losses and a draw on their run to the Grand Final. Skyla Payne will be one to watch under the post after an outstanding 65-goal performance in the qualifying final.

Roar finished the home-and-away season on top of the ladder with 12 wins and two losses. After a narrow qualifying final defeat, they responded emphatically in the preliminary final, powering past the Rangers by 24 goals. Albany defender Keely Berry has made an immediate impact in her first year of the competition and will be one to watch.

Their most recent meeting came in that eye-catching qualifying final, setting the stage for another compelling contest.

Open Western Roar v Comets

In a familiar finals storyline, Roar and the Comets meet again on the Grand Final stage. The sides finished second and third respectively, and both bring experienced finals line-ups well equipped for high-pressure moments.

With both sides finishing on 10 wins and four losses, separated only by percentage, every contest will matter. Roar will look to three-time League best and fairest Caitlyn Brown to limit the Comets’ scoring power, while Sophia Lamers will be central to their attacking output.

The Comets took the longer road to the decider, defeating the Warriors in the elimination final before overcoming the Demons in the preliminary final. Liz Dronfield has been in strong form in recent weeks, combining with Ella Taylor to create a formidable defensive pairing.

The last time they met was in Round 13, when the Comets stole a one-goal win, proving this will be a game to watch.
