The new agreement which will run from 2024 to 2026 is part of DLGSC’s Women’s National League Teams Grants Program which supports organisations to provide sustainable sporting pathways and programs for women at the high-performance level.
The value of Netball WA’s grant has increased by 40 per cent per annum and will reduce the financial impact of competing on the national stage.
West Coast Fever General Manager – Performance & Pathway Sue Gaudion said the Club was extremely grateful for the grant assistance and the ongoing support of the State Government and DLGSC.
“The State Government, the Minister for Sport and Recreation David Templeman and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries are great supporters of Netball WA and West Coast Fever,” Gaudion said.
“The support Netball WA and West Coast Fever receive assists with the sustainability of our program and strengthening our pathway programs to ensure our athletes can compete on the national, high-performance stage.
“We are extremely grateful for the increased investment from the Department as West Coast Fever looks to attack the Suncorp Super Netball league.”
