Western Roar 56 defeated Peel Lightning
Western Roar set the tone early with a dominant opening quarter, racing out to a nine-goal lead and putting Peel Lightning under pressure from the outset. Lightning showed good agility through the midcourt and worked hard to create opportunities but struggled to convert consistently at the post. Roar shooter Sophia Lamers delivered her best performance of the season with 42 goals, while young gun Teagan Begovic also made her mark under the ring with nine goals in an impressive contribution.

Comets 51 defeated Fremantle Sharks 48
The Comets edged out Fremantle Sharks in one of the tightest games of the round, with both teams claiming two quarters in a contest that remained in the balance until the final whistle. The Comets shooting circle showed patience and composure in the closing stages, doing enough in the last quarter to protect their slender advantage. In just her third game back after a long-term injury, Aitua Enari produced a strong performance with 19 goals, while Comets captain Georgia Morgan marked her 100th game with an important win for her side.

Southside Demons 69 defeated Rangers 42
Southside Demons recorded a convincing 69-42 win over Rangers, who continue to search for their first victory of the season. Despite the result, Rangers captain Myra Ugle was a major bright spot, finishing with 36 goals in her best individual return of the year. The Demons controlled the opening three quarters, although Rangers responded with a determined final-term fightback to finish level at 10 goals apiece in the last quarter. The night also marked a major milestone for WANL stalwart Georgia Pitt, who celebrated her 150th Opens game and contributed 23 goals in the win.
West Coast Warriors 68 defeated Souwest Jets 46
West Coast Warriors were too strong for Souwest Jets, claiming a 68-46 victory, but the Jets showed plenty of fight against one of the competition’s strongest outfits. They stayed in the contest for periods and worked hard to match the Warriors’ intensity but were ultimately unable to keep pace with the volume of scoring at the other end. Zoe Harper again proved a key figure for the Warriors with 38 goals, continuing a run of high-output performances, while Jade Dimer added eight goals in a promising contribution during her first season in Opens.
