Each week throughout the season, two matches from any of the three divisions of GIG WANL will be available to stream via Streamer.
Netball WA General Manager Commercial, Media & Marketing Stuart Gilsenan said the new streaming platform would assist Netball WA to continue to increase the profile of GIG WANL.
“Over the past two seasons we have seen the increase in our streaming numbers with more than 64,000 viewers tuning into GIG WANL matches throughout 2023,” Gilsenan said.
“Being able to stream GIG WANL matches is incredibly important to increasing the profile of GIG WANL and showcasing the amazing netball talent we are producing in Western Australia.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Seven West Media and supporting their West Australian-grown platform Streamer.”
Streamer Operations Manager Nick Rynne said the platform was excited to partner with GIG WANL and help celebrate WA Netball.
“We’ve long admired the passion in GIG WANL ranks and to have the competition on board is huge for the Streamer team,” he said.
“We love amplifying the great stories in local sport and to be further integrated with netball in WA really means a lot.”
