Before the commencement of each game, athletes, staff and spectators paid their respect to Liz Booth. Liz, who recently passed away, was a champion of West Australian Netball and made an indelible mark on GIG WANL.
Sharks and Jets take only draw for the season on 51 points
The Jets, who had one win to their name for the season going into Round 14, ended their season with a bang. The side won the first three quarters of the game, until the Sharks fought back to tie the match.
In goals, Jet Kate Kimberley (28) and Brooke Gibson (23) were a very strong duo. The pair combined with the impactful defence of Claire Pickerill in Goal Defence and Brooke O’Connor in Goalkeeper who kept the Sharks at bay.
With the crowd on the edge of their seats, Gibson’s goal in the final three seconds of the fourth quarter tied the game up.
Shark Sophie Eastaugh even took her highest goals for the season with 31, alongside Georgie Cleaver’s 18 and Indi Strom’s two.

Demons 52 defeated Lightning 36
The Southside Demons cemented their place in the finals with their 16-goal win over the Lightning.
Shooting responsibilities for the winning side were shared between Meg Gallager (23), Ashleigh Cupido (17), Nikala Cox (8) and Georgia Ettridge (four).
The Lightning ended their season with a valiant effort, their shooting side of Kasey Ridout (20), Rebecca Lill (11) and Cherie Miller (5) fighting until the final minutes to shorten the margin between the sides.
Roar 49 defeated Comets 44
The top of the table clash was once again a game not to miss, both sides knowing how to put on a show when they play each other.
The Western Roar Open side officially remain undefeated throughout the regular season after their five-goal win, and the club themselves taking home the Minor Premiership across all three divisions.
Roar came out strong, taking a six-goal lead in the first quarter, but it was the Comets who fought back in the second.
Roar’s Sophia Lamers remains the highest goal scorer across the division throughout the regular season with 462 goals, 34 during Round 14. Emma Putt also took nine whilst Asha Parsons took six.
The Comets shooting end fought hard throughout the whole game, keeping the margin close with five goals in a row at the start of the fourth quarter. Madeleine Ash (29), Emma Cosh (nine) and Halle Richards (six) were in n goals throughout the game.
Comet Lindal Rohde celebrated her massive milestone becoming just the fourth player to play 250 GIG WANL games.
Rangers 67 defeated Warriors 39
The fifth placed Rangers ended their season with a 28-goal win over the sixth placed Warriors, demonstrating that the work doesn’t stop until the very end of the season.
The winning side took a four-goal lead in the first quarter and maintained it throughout the entire game, cementing their win in the fourth quarter when they won by 14.
The Rangers shooting side consisted of Georgia Pitt (29), Abbey Hicks (19), Kathryn Byrne (11) and Kimberley Burton (eight).
Although suffering a loss, the Warriors ended their season with a strong five wins under their belt and a commendable shooting side of Hana Stokes (26), Steph Cooper (nine) and Emily Dwyer (four).
