Western Australia’s biggest Netball event, the Fuel to Go & Play Association Championships were held in Perth as more than 300 teams and 3,500 players braved wet conditions in an action-packed long weekend.

Games were played across 43 Divisions ranging from 12 and Under and Junior Boys all the way to Masters Women.

In the end, 23 Associations won trophies with Perth Netball Association winning the most with six.

Southern Cross recorded their very first trophy in the Fuel to Go & Play Association Championships, taking out the Open Women 4th Division 14-10 against North Midlands.

The competition also included two No Limits Divisions for players with an intellectual disability, giving teams from Geraldton to Bunbury a chance to play competitive netball. Southern Districts and Wanneroo won the Gold and the Green No Limits Divisions respectively.

18 Invitational teams from Singapore also played in the competition, the first international sides in the competition since 2019.

The Fuel to Go & Play Association Championships were possible thanks to the support of Healthway promoting the Fuel to Go & Play, Gold Industry Group, Fortescue, the Insurance Commission of Western Australia promoting the Belt Up campaign, the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, the Town of Cambridge and the Perth Netball Association.
