Rangers and Sharks will do battle for the final spot in the GIG WANL 20/U Finals on Sunday.

They are two of several teams who can change up their ladder position in the final round of the regular season.

All eyes will be locked on the Rangers v Sharks game as both teams sit on 14 points with whoever wins making their way into finals.

Last week, the Rangers passed East Freo to get in the top four on percentage and would finish third if they win and the Comets are upset by the Jets.

The 20/U Roar have secured top spot with a so-far flawless run of 13 unbeaten games. The Demons are a lock in second place, four points clear of the Comets in third.

Unfortunately for the Lightning and Warriors there’s only pride on the line as the sides can’t make finals as they face off in both of the Open and 20/U Divisions.

In the Open Division, Roar have essentially locked in top spot, two points ahead of second and third with a far superior percentage.

Roar still have plenty to play for as they face third placed Demons, with the result of the match possibly deciding who joins the Roar with a second chance in the Major Semi Final.

Demons were able to get the win last time the two sides met back in Round Five, 65-55 and will be hoping to do the double this weekend.

The other obstacle in the Demons’ path for second place is the Comets who face bottom placed Jets.

While the Jets won their first game last week the Comets will be the heavily fancied side and hold a better percentage than the Demons so will finish second with a win.

The Sharks can also move up the ladder if they defeat the Rangers. They are only two points behind the Comets and Demons and if they win big and the Demons lose badly, they might just be able to surpass them.

All four positions in the Men’s Division are set and all four teams will feature in Finals.

It will be a warmup for the finals as the Roar and Warriors face off and the Comets play the Demons in a preview of the Major and Minor Semi Final.
