Trailing by a goal at the final change, the Roar kicked into gear winning the quarter 17 goals to nine.
Roar Goal Attack Tegan Begovic was awarded the Grand Final MVP for her sensational game which included 14 goals.

The game started strongly with both teams attacking the ball fiercely but it was the Roar that settled into the game first.
At one stage they built a three-goal off the back of great play from Centre Teddi Lowe and Begovic.
The Demons were able to fight back with Chelsea Cook providing a strong focal point at Goal Shooter.

The teams traded goals early in the second quarter as the contest continued to heat up.
While the defensive pressure from both sides was through the roof, neither side was able to capitalise on the turnovers until Roar started to control the game.
They were able to build a three-goal lead going into half time.
Q3: Demons 33 | Roar 32
It was the Demons who came out firing after the main break scoring the five of the first six goals to hit the lead.
Goal Attack Georgia Ettridge was influential, helping connect the Demons as they looked dangerous in attack.
Roar responded with three goals in a row to once again regain a two-goal lead before the seesawing contest saw the Demons go on a roll to hold a one-goal lead going into the final quarter.
Q4: Demons 42 | Roar 49
The Roar broke the game open during the first five minutes of the last quarter.
With nine minutes to go, the influential Lowe was suspended for two minutes which opened the door for Demons as they faced a six-player Roar.
But even with six, the Roar were able to force a turnover in the defensive third and convert at the other end to go four goals up and break Demons’ hearts.
From there, Begovic continued her impressive game as the Roar secured the title.
