The Fever in Time program once again demonstrated the depth of West Australian Netball talent at the State Cup over the weekend.

More than 200 athletes from across WA made their way to the Gold Netball Centre to train and compete under the guidance of 51 Fever in Time coaches.

Congratulations to the 14/U North team who defeated South 33 to 31 to claim the 14/U title. While the 16/U South team defeated North 45 to 38 to secure the premiership.

Additionally, the State Cup acts as a talent identification program for the 17/U State T,eam who will compete in the National Netball Championships next year.

State selectors were present during the weekend and recongised 40 players in the 16/U age group who will advance to Phase Two of the State 17/U Trials.

The Fever in Time program also offered a unique opportunity for the 33 umpires to develop their skills and techniques during high-level match-play with players and coaches.

Netball WA are proud to announce that over the weekend coaches Kate McKenzie and Lisa Callaghan earnt their Advanced Coaching Accreditation and Jess Knight achieved her Intermediate.

Athletes, coaches and umpires will now take the knowledge and valuable experiences they have learnt back to their Associations and Clubs to continue the betterment of netball in WA.

Thank you to Healthway and Fuel to Go & Play for keeping the coaches, athletes and umpires energised throughout the weekend.
