Netball WA and CBH Group have expanded their partnership in 2026, with CBH funding contents insurance for 24 Netball WA-affiliated associations across grain-growing WA.

The investment provides direct support to regional netball associations by helping cover this annual operating expense, reducing financial pressure and supporting the long-term sustainability of community netball.

By funding contents insurance, CBH is helping associations direct more resources towards delivering safe, accessible and enjoyable netball experiences for their communities.

The expanded support builds on CBH’s partnership with Netball WA, which began in 2023. CBH is the presenting partner of three key regional championships in the Great Southern, Midwest Gascoyne and Wheatbelt regions. This support provides regional athletes with the opportunity to perform on a larger stage, enabling talent identification and development opportunities.

CBH also provides a free strapping station at these championships in addition to Association Championships, helping to ensure athletes are safe and supported when they take to the court.

Together, these initiatives represent a meaningful investment in community netball, supporting players, volunteers and associations across regional WA.

Netball WA General Manager – Community Netball Beth Harvey said Netball WA was pleased to continue their partnership with CBH Group in 2026 and acknowledged the organisation’s ongoing support for regional netball communities.

“Support like this from CBH allows our affiliated Associations in grain growing regions to focus on their core business of delivering netball programs and competitions,” Ms Harvey said.

CBH Chief Executive Officer Ben Macnamara said the expanded partnership reflects CBH's commitment to supporting vibrant regional communities.

"Netball plays an important role in regional Western Australia, bringing people together, creating opportunities for young people and helping communities stay connected."

"By covering contents insurance costs for local associations, we're providing practical support that reduces financial pressures and helps volunteers focus on what matters most, creating positive experiences for players and their communities."

"We're proud to continue our partnership with Netball WA and invest in initiatives that strengthen the clubs, associations and volunteers who are at the heart of regional sport."
