The West Australian Netball community celebrated the 2022 season at tonight’s Jill McIntosh Medal awards night at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre with West Coast Warrior Caitlyn Brown winning the coveted award.

Brown was crowned as the MVP of the 2022 Gold Industry Group Western Australian Netball League (WANL) season winning by just one vote from Rangers Georgia Pitt. Brown was also awarded the Player's Player of the Year capping off a stellar season.

The Western Roar was awarded Club of the Year after securing the premiership in all three grades.

For the first time, Netball WA’s Principal Partner, Gold Industry Group, and the Perth Mint, acknowledged an individual within each WANL club for their outstanding contribution to their club during the season.

Seven more netball icons were inducted into the Netball WA Court of Champions. The Court of Champions recognises and celebrates WA developed players who have reached the ultimate in the sport by representing Australia and who made a significant contribution to the sport in this State.
