Tier 1 umpires are identified as having the potential to progress through the Netball WA Umpire Pathway. The program supports their continued development through higher-level match play opportunities, targeted umpire education, and coaching and mentoring from experienced umpire coaches.
As part of the program, Tier 1 umpires will officiate throughout the 2027 WANL Futures competition.
