The 2024 Boorloo NAIDOC Carnival presented by Fortescue successfully saw hundreds of talented athletes descend on the Gold Netball Centre and Matthews Netball Centre.

The Carnival started back in 2004 and has grown from strength-to-strength each year. In 2024, a massive 101 teams across 18 divisions filled the courts for a day of challenging competition.

The 2024 NAIDOC Theme: Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud was personified during the day. The Boorloo Carnival joins the North West, Mid West and Southern NAIDOC Carnivals held around the State.

Teams used the 2024 NAIDOC netball on each court, provided by the Insurance Commission of Western Australia, promoting the Belt Up message. The 2024 design was created by Laverton Shooting Stars participant Jenae Evans. Athletes and community members also had the opportunity to submit their designs for 2025 NAIDOC Netball Design Competition.

West Coast Fever captain Jess Anstiss and athletes  Jordan Cransberg and Kadie-Ann Dehaney and came to spend time with players and spectators.
