The Netball WA State Umpire Squad and Emerging Talent Group have been announced to officiate the 2021 Gold Industry Group West Australian Netball League season, which recommences at Round 4 this Friday, May 14.
Netball WA General Manager Community Netball, Liz Booth, congratulated all the umpires selected following an eight-week selection process.
“All of these umpires demonstrated their talent during pre-season fitness testing, training and match-play alongside the State teams,” Ms Booth said.
“The group match play and level of fitness was of a very high standard and I was also pleased to see the largest contingent of regional umpires that we have ever had participate in the selection process.”
The Netball WA State Umpire Squad and Emerging Talent Group will now umpire GIG WANL fixtures and be advocates for the NWA Umpiring Pathway within associations across the state.
