The Netball WA Community Raffle has concluded for 2020, with the initiative once again strongly embraced by the West Australian netball community.

This year was slightly different, with the raffle being sold solely online as a result of COVID-19 and the disrupted netball season.

Once again, Associations and Clubs will benefit from the raffle with 60% of funds being returned to them and the remaining 40% placed in a Community Facilities Fund, which works to ensure a high quality of netball facilities and supports the future growth of the sport.

Netball WA General Manager of Community Netball, Liz Booth, thanked the netball community for their ongoing support.

“2020 was an unprecedented year for our sport and it was great to see the netball community once again rally around and support each other,” said Booth.

“The raffle is an excellent way for Clubs and Associations to fundraise every year, ensuring netball in WA has access to quality facilities.”

“I thank those who supported the Netball Community Raffle this year and encourage others to get involved next year.”

Netball WA would like to thank its partners of the Netball WA Community Raffle including, the Gold Industry Group, Nissan, Flight Centre, RAC Arena and West Coast Fever.
