WOOLWORTHS NETSETGO FAQs

General

Woolworths NetSetGo is Australia’s leading grassroots netball program, designed for children aged 5-10 to experience the joy of netball in a fun, safe, and welcoming community. Our mission is to develop confident, and active kids who will grow a lifelong love of team sport, all while building essential skills.

Registration open dates and season start, and end dates vary from centre to centre. For more information about when your local centre opens registrations, contact your local club using their details which can be found on the finder.

The recommended age range for children participating in Woolworths NetSetGO is 5 – 10 years of age, however Netball WA allow 11 year olds to play in the GO competition.

Woolworths NetSetGO is run at different times throughout the year depending on your centre and the type of program being offered by your local Club or Association. For more information about the registration open dates and season delivery, contact your local club using the details on the finder.

The length of the program can vary depending on your centre and the time of year you are participating. Woolworths NetSetGO programs typically run for a minimum of 8 weeks.

The time varies between programs and centres, typically you can expect a session to run for 45 – 60 minutes. Sessions typically include a warm up, game-based activities and modified game play.

We recommend that your child wears their Woolworths NetSetGO t-shirt with either shorts, a skirt or whatever they feel most comfortable in. We also recommend that each child is wearing appropriate footwear. Make sure they bring along a drink bottle and a hat if they are playing outside.
