As a result of the most recent announcement by the Premier, mask-wearing requirements have been reinstated when outside the place we normally reside, both indoors and outdoors, from 6pm today, Saturday 01 May 2021.

This condition is subject to certain exemptions, including vigorous outdoor exercise.

Netball WA has been advised that because netball is a vigorous sport, the players and umpires participating outdoors are exempt from wearing a mask throughout the game.

Those not actively participating in the game are to be wearing masks. Spectators are also to be wearing masks.

All indoor netball remains cancelled until further notice.

Anyone who has been in the affected area (Perth/Peel) within the past 14 days, must wear a mask outside the affected area, as if they were in the affected area.

Updated health directions can be found published at: https://www.wa.gov.au/government/publications/face-covering-directions-no-4

Details of the latest sites visited by close contacts can be found at: https://www.healthywa.wa.gov.au/Articles/A_E/Coronavirus/Locations-visited-by-confirmed-cases.

This is an evolving situation and we expect there will be further advice from the Premier tomorrow, as indicated during his press conference this afternoon.

We thank you for your ongoing support in getting the message out and limiting the spread.
