A number of facility funding and grant options are available for sporting Associations/Clubs in Western Australia. Please find these listed in the below content.

Community Sporting and Recreation Facility Fund (CSRFF)

This fund is available to any sporting organisation in Western Australia, and focuses on projects that will maintain or increase physical activity for an area or community. An emphasis is put on plans that will increase female participation or are in an area with a high Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population. The maximum grant is $2,000,000 or up to one third of the total project cost. There are also Small grants within this category that are available twice a year and have a lower maximum amount. The next Small grant round is in February 2020. The larger annual grant will return in 2020 and generally opens in June.

Community Spaces and Places Grant

The Lotterywest Community Spaces and Places Grant is a non-sport specific grant that aims to improve community spaces, particularly where it can help a community actively engage with itself. Projects that encourage healthy lives are favoured, so sporting organsiations are certainly eligible to apply. Applications can be made at any time.

Netball WA Community Facilities Fund

Funded from the Netball Community Raffle, Netball WA will match funding contributions, up to $10,000, that go towards projects that improve the quality of netball facilities and support the growth of the sport. Applications will open again in July 2020.

Community TAB – Community TAB Sports Grant

Community Sport Infrastructure

Move It AUS’s (SportAUS) Community Sport Infrastructure program focuses on increasing participation in sport. It is for upgrades in facilities and infrastructure that will address a gap, need, or deficiency in the community. There is a maximum grant of $500,000. Confirmation of 2020 funding opportunity is still to be confirmed by Sport Aus.

Bankwest Easy Grants

These grants are open to anyone in the community and are awarded monthly, up to a maximum of $1,000. The winners are decided by popular vote, with six recipients of $1,000 and up to 34 others receiving $200. You must be a Bankwest customer to apply, and must not have received a Bankwest Easy Grant in the past year to be eligible. Applications can be made at any time.
