Sports Excellence Scholarship in Netball 

Netball WA, with support from the Gold Industry Group, has donated funds to The University of Western Australia to establish a scholarship to assist and encourage registered netballers, with an interest in a career in the mining industry, to commence and pursue an undergraduate qualification at the University and realise their dual career focus.

(a) demonstrate an interest in mining and in a career in the mining industry
(b) be a registered and active member of a Netball WA affiliate club
(c) be a commencing student
(d) be enrolled, or eligible to enrol in an undergraduate degree course at the University.

To assist and encourage high-performing student athletes in the sport of netball, with an interest in a career in the mining industry, to commence and pursue an undergraduate qualification at the University and realise their dual career focus.
